Ingredients | |
Bean broth (Any quantity you wish to prepare for soup) | |
Oregano (optional) | 1/2 tsp |
Pepper powder | 1/2 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Onion finely chopped | 1/2 cup |
Garlic grated | 1 tsp |
Olive oil | 1 tsp |
Heat oil in a pot and add oregano.
Add onion and fry till it gets transparent.
Add grated garlic and fry for another minute.
Add the broth and bring it to boil.
Simmer the flame and add salt.
Add pepper and boil for 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
- You can mash some cooked beans and add to the soup if you wish.
- You can follow the same recipe for any vegetable or lentil broth.
- If you like it spicy, you can add chopped green chillies before boiling.
