Stuffed Roti rolls

Stuffed Roti rolls are a tasty and fun way to make children eat their veggies and is liked by all age groups. It is best consumed when hot and can be eaten without any dip or with just tomato sauce.

Ingredients
Whole wheat flour 2 cups
Salt to taste
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Garam masala powder/sambar powder 1 tsp
Water 1 &1/2 cups
Oil 1 tsp


For stuffing
Oil 2 tsps
Onion chopped 1
Bell pepper chopped 1 small
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Cabbage chopped 2 cups
Salt to taste
Chilli powder 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder 3/4 tsp
Mozzarella cheese (optional)






Warm some water.

In a mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients and then add water. Knead it to make a roti dough.











Also add oil and knead for 5 minutes.












In a pan, heat oil and add chopped onion.












Add chopped bell pepper and fry.












Also add ginger garlic paste.











Add cabbage and mix well. Cover the lid and fry for 5 minutes.












Add salt,..











Chilli powder and..












Coriander powder. Mix well, cover the lid and cook for 6-7 minutes.











Take a portion of roti dough, dust well with the flour and roll it to a thin roti sheet.











Place the stuffing and mozzarella cheese on the sheet.












Cover the stuffing by pulling the sides of the sheet and wrapping it tight. Press the ends of the sheet lightly.








Place the rolls in a aluminium foil/baking sheet lined baking tray.

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and bake the roti rolls for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.








You can bake it for 5 more minutes if you want it to be crispy.

Serve hot with a dip or tomato sauce.
